My laptop is
Acer Aspire E5-576g which has a
Transcend 240GB M.2 SSD 820S installed when buying the laptop and
Windows 10 Pro 1803 version is installed to the SSD. I used it for nearly 8 months without any problem. Today when I boot up my laptop, an error message appeared as "No Bootable Device Found". Then I Googled the error and found a solution, changed Boot Mode from "UEFI" to "Legacy" and restarted. Then the laptop restarted properly. I have few questions on this.
1. Why this would happen on UEFI mode ?(Is that because it boot from the SSD?)
2. What is the difference of using Legacy mode rather than UEFI? (Are there any consequences?)
3. I saw many Acer users have reported this problem. Is that a common issue of Acer laptops?
4. Is there any permanent solution for this issue?
Thanks
