Can somebody please help, Today I bought an acer Predator Triton 500, https://www.acer.com/ac/en/SG/content/predator-model/NH.Q50SG.004
From the beginning i can clearly hear the fan noise from the left side, where the turbo button is.
basically the computer is just doing nothing but the fans are still making noise,
when I press the power button it starts making noise but it never stops.
the sound is like the the fan is hitting some thin paper each time it makes a rotation.
Is anyone else have this issue or I am the only one.
Its quite frustrating that I bought the laptop with this high price and not it's making noise from the beginning.
Can some one please help with any solution ?

Have you checked if is there anything trapped inside any of the fans even the smallest object could end up by making weird noises you described but also bare in mind that all predators fans make really loud noise its normal when performing demanding tasks/gaming any gaming laptop would do the same they are all very noisy as the fans can hit 6100rpm on max performance

    Hi @xapim
Thank you for you reply. The problem is the noise is still there even if the laptop is quite idle and doing nothing, it's the gpu fan, the cpu fan are quite good. I can still hear the gpu fan noise at 1000 rpm, its like kit..kit..kit..kit, but if I increase the fan speed the sound is loud sound but the sound is normal not like the fan is ticking with something. I am very upset about this noise, I don't have problem with the noise when I play games but when I am doing nothing in a silent root, the sound is very annoying. I think I need to see some other units.

Well as i said some debris could be there shut i down and try to look for some debris with a flashlight and turn the fan around manually with aomething that would fit there like a staple or toothpick it might be also one of the fan blades/wings that is defective and causing that noise you can find it by manually turning it to check if its scratching somewhere if you find the fan its defective just contact acer support for a repair/replacement

Thank you for the advice, I just bough the laptop yesterday, I will bring the laptop to the customer service center to check if anything is wrong with the fan. I think there is some problem with the gpu fan side, The cpu fan is okay and has not annoying tiktiktik even if I put it in highest rpm the noise is as expected.

Sorry I selected it as Accepted Answer by mistake.

    Hi, @marcushdjdjs
yes the it happens like you said.
But my I have some additional problem with this, first the fan noise is loud when I turn on the laptop but I can hear that the fan noise is not normal, I can feel when it rotate I can hear that it's getting stack with some thing, so there is little tik tik tik tik .... noise with the normal fan noise, even If i set the gpu rpm to 1000 the noise is still there,
Now I turn of the gpu fan there is no noise, and after turning off the gpu fan, I set the cpu fan speed to full. And the cpu fan noise is complete normal hi speed fan noise without any kind of tik tik tik ....

Then something interesting happened, I make the cpu fan to auto, and make the gpu fan to max for 20 to 30 second and then reduce the fan to 2000 rmp and the extra annoying noise was gone. I test for around 10 minute with different rpm and there was not extra annoying noise to. At this time the laptop was working as completely normal, I was only hearing the wind passing sound by the fans. But My luck is bad and the annoying sound came back just after some time. and still persists.
marcushdjdjs are you facing similar problem ?

BTW tahmidolee, i solved my problem by removing black protective layer on pcb and moving display wires a little further from gpu fans. Looks like they were poorly placed there.
