Changing the System Disk after adding m.2 - Aspire E5-575G-50BT

Hi, I have just installed the m.2 in my laptop and I cloned the OS partition of the HDD to the SSD.
Now, technically I have the OS in both places. I changed in the BIOS the Boot order and it recognized the m.2 and all but it simply keeps the HDD as the 'System Driver' and the new m.2 is idle.
What I should do to migrate the OS for free? I found one app 'EaseUs' but its paid.
I really want to transfer the system disk to the m.2 so that I can use the HDD as Storage Partition - and I dont want to remove the HDD so that I would make it work :(

Appreciate your help on this matter:

    Hi,
You can use Minitool Partition Wizard free program to migrate the OS and the contents of HDD to M.2 SSD, then change the boot order in BIOS to make M.2 SSD as your first boot device, once you are happy with the migration, you need to remove HDD to confirm the migration is successful,  you can format the HDD and use it for additional storage.

I just removed the HDD and the m.2 is GREAT! 30 times faster FOR REAL!!!!
My only problem is HOW TO format the HDD so that I can use as storage disk.
Because I dont have cables for this HDD... And if I put back on the machine, it will read as the primary driver.

What should I do??? I have 2 partitions on the HDD.
One for the system e the other has my files.
    I really cant lose it.

Quick update: After I started the system without the HDD, it recognized the OS on the m.2 and worked. Then I put back the HDD and it started from the m.2 still! Using the native partition from the Win10 I deleted the old C: but my problem is that I cant remove that 100MB system reserved partition. It is locked. What should I do to remove?

I have cleaned the partition where the windows were. But the problem is that I cant clean the system reserved one. And additionally, I cant clean the whole disk, because I have one partition there with my files.

To format hard drive, some third party programs might come to help. Last week I tried to format my dell hard drive, but I stuck in "Failed to format the selected partition". So I turn to the program mentioned in this article.  Finally, the succeed. Hope it can also give you a hand.

Thanks a lot for sharing it! I will definitely use it next time.
This time I had to copy all the data from the partition I wanted to keep and clean the whole disk using command prompt 'diskpart'
I have saved this post for future usage. It would have helped me.

Thank you and all the best!
