Nitro AN515-54 Backlight Timeout

Just got a AN515-54 and the one thing that bugs me is the backlight timeout while on AC. I read that other models of Nitro got a BIOS update that let them disable it but my model doesn't have that update available. Is there any chance that update becoming available? Or possible even allowing mouse movement to trigger the backlight? Don't really see the benefit of having forced power saving features when it is plugged in.

    I see there are no BIOS updates so that makes me think it already has the feature built in but you have to turn it on. Restart and hit F2 repeatedly to enter BIOS setting, under the general tab should be Keyboard Backlight Timer ON/OFF selection

    I thought so to but there's nothing in the bios for that. Unless I'm totally blind

    Sorry I was hoping there was because that is how it worked after the BIOS update for the other models, best if you contact Acer and ask them

    Unfortunately that's not in the AN515-54 BIOS.
