How to reproduce:
1. Update to May update via Windows Update
2. Finish the update
3. Restart the computer AFTER computer is finished updating
4. Audio driver is deleted without notice

Downloading the same driver manually doesn't work (atleast for me)
NOTE: I haven't tried installing the AMD High definition driver, maybe that works.
AN515-42

This problem occurs atleast for me.

Open Control Panel. Search 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point' in the left pane. Click 'system restore' button. Click ' next' . Select auto May update restore point. You may have to temporarily block it for now using the Microsoft hide tool https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3183922/how-to-temporarily-prevent-a-windows-update-from-reinstalling-in-windo

If it's still missing, is an earlier restore point still available? You might have to click a 'show more restore points' box on the restore point list Jack E/NJ

Ah, it seemed like the message didn't come through, sorry. Anyways, this is actually interesting. When updating to the May update, the restore points get deleted and you can create one either. Thankfully rolling back Windows works, which I have already done.
