I have had this laptop for 2 weeks now and it won’t turn on. The laptop crashed and now whenever I press the power button, it gets stuck on the acer screen and there is nothing I can do. Any tips? Also want to add that it gets hot near the power button when I turn it on and not use it.

    Good night rzxzr  !

    Check the power interruption button.

The interrupt button not being pressed correctly may generate this problem.

There is a power interrupt button:

If it is not pressed down or the case is misaligned, errors may occur.
Check the same and use something like a layer of insulation tape to force and press this button correctly.

Tried that and didn’t work. It just turns on but gets stuck at the acer splash screen.

Check in Bios if the HD is recognized and if in the Boot section WindowsBootmanager is set to be the first to boot

    Tinkerer

Press Fn+F2 when trying to access the BIOS. This models are the newer ones where the media keys take precedent over the original function keys (and one of the reasons why I bought the laptop in the first place).

Should that not work, then like it or not, might as well send it for warranty services.
