VN7-592G and getting DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION?
Computer: VN7-592G-70EN
The other day I noticed that my Nvidia 960M wasn't being used in the computer so I went to the Nvidia Control Panel only to find out I couldn't open it and the device manager said it wasn't working properly. I did all the usual things of trying other drivers with no luck. Eventually I was able to get the card to show up but about 30 seconds after the computer would blue screen with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.
After several attempts of fixing the issue with clean Windows 10 installs I figured out if I installed any sort of new or old Nvidia driver I would blue screen. Here's some things I've tried (not all though):
-Clean install, internet connection, blue screen after windows updates and drivers auto installed (once with the 1.07 BIOS i was currently running and with 1.12)
-clean install, no internet, nvidia drivers from Acer site, blue screen within 5 minutes
-clean install, no internet, intel onboard drivers installed from acer site, disabled/uninstalled Nvidia card, works fine until internet access and updates ask for a restart, blue screens upon next login.
This is driving me absolutely bonkers and I can't seem to find the problem.
Any help is appreciated!
