Hi,
I am about to upgrade my Aspire 5 A515-51G-50AC to SSD. I am considering WD Blue SN500 NVMe SSD but confuse for its compatibility with my laptop. Did my laptop's M2 slot accept it? If not, which M2 SSD is suitable for my laptop?

    Hi,
I think it will work as your laptop is compatible with a NVMe SSD.

Alright, I planned to buy and install it in the next month. I will tell the result after installation.

hey yall i minitooled an image of my disk (after trying lots of "free" partition tools from the web) onto a 64gb microsd card and plugged it into a usb adapter and tried to boot the partition image from it onto a fresh WD SN550 500Gb SSD (in place of the 128 SK SSD it shipped with). Problem is the micro sd/usb adapter doesnt come up in the boot menu in BIOS. Acer BIOS doesnt show me a way to enable legacy boot. All i see in boot menu is EULA or something and no other values to pick from. I set a supervisor password and gained access to disabling safe boot mode which i saved and restarted and still it would not pick up the USB/SD combo to boot from. when i reinstalled my original SDD and plugged the USB/SD combo in, it had no problem opening the contents and there sat my Disk Image. However, when i restared with a Typical USB flash drive in the same slot that has an old windows 7 install on it, it was in the boot menu as an option to boot from. i already have a windows 10 fresh install and key that came with this Acer so i was under the assumption the image i made in minitools had the windows 10 OS boot stuff. my Question is why wont my BIOS boot loader identify this san disk micro sd/USB adapter that has my disk Image on it? And why dont I have the option to legacy boot? And furthermore, should i have coverted myGPT disk into a MBR image? or would that bottle neck me in some way? THanks in advance for any and all help!!
