So, after flashing the latest BIOS (v1.22) on my G3-572, F2 at boot does't let me into the BIOS anymore like it used to do. F2 key works fine though. I checked it myself.

    Good afternoon XdxD !

First, what was the need to upgrade bios?

It said about fixing 2nd HDD not being detected in BIOS. Also some people over here have got problems of HDD not getting detected. So I thought to upgrade it. Also, it is accessible through traditional way in Windows 10.

Were you having this problem with the 2nd HD?

No. But I keep updating my BIOS to latest version, although others suggest not to upgrade if I don't face problem. 1 thing good that happened is that Acer BlueLight filter doesn't turn itself off most of the time (except while connecting/disconnecting to Wi-Fi) even if the switch is on 'On' position now.

Bios updates are extremely delicate and risky processes and should only be performed in serious cases of serious system errors or extreme need for correction or compatibility.
Outside this is a process that should be avoided to the maximum, especially if your machine is working perfectly.
This is a universal recommendation in common agreement of all the developers, highly defended by the most important publications in the area of technology.

If you can no longer access Bios, try resetting the battery.
If this does not work, I suggest contacting Acer directly on the official channels.

Yup, wholly agree with you. Will try the 2nd method of contacting first.

@XdxD still on 1.20 here there is a way to force downgrade the bios to previous versions by modifying the the flash bios version check settings file (to disable the current bios check enabling it to flash a previous bios) some had done it but as it was said before its a very risky move no guarantee it will work or not and not advisable at all try at your own risk
