Hi,
I noticed the other day, that my computer were using WIFI instead of LAN as it normally does.

I have looked at networkconnections, and only Bluetooth and wifi is present - LAN is missing
Then I looked at Device management, and it lists Bluetooth, Wifi and Wan under "network"

Router: I have moved cable to other RJ45 - I have other computers on same router with LAN working

I have tried changing cable

I have checked LANport on PC, and there is a green light blinking irradically

Anyone got an idea what to do about it? - Is it something I did or is the onboard LANcard fried ?

Yes, a likely hardware failure if it's not detected. Since it's integrated on the mainboard, might be either a solder or chip failure. A solder reflow might fix it but risky. I wouldn't do it if WIFI is adequate. Jack E/NJ
