I had to do a clean install of windows and now I have no wireless connections

I had to perform a clean install of windows 8.1 from a disc. When I completed this, I had no Internet connections at all. After looking at network adapters, I saw that I had drivers missing. I downloaded driver easy and it allowed me to install my missing drivers. According to driver easy, my drivers are all up to date. I still do not have any wireless connection options. When I click on properties of the wireless driver, there is an error code 39. I have tried all I can think of and I am now at a loss as to how to fix this problem. I would really appreciate any help at all.
