    Good Morning Nanashi !

What is the need to update Bios?
Bios updates are extremely delicate and risky processes and should only be performed in serious cases of serious system errors or extreme need for correction or compatibility.
Outside this is a process that should be avoided to the maximum, especially if your machine is working perfectly.

Two reasons.. one is for fixing a laptop and the other is for knowledge. I’ve already encountered laptops that don’t work and get sent to acer and by the time it arrived its already injected and fixed e.g: black screen pressing fn esc and power blue light blinking, goes to acer logo then black screen and other black screen issues. I want to know how to do it.

What problem does the device in question have?

Understand that updating Bios, if performed unnecessarily, wrong and unknowingly can permanently disable a device.

Not all upgrades are done via USB.
Some are via executable by the operating system itself.

This will depend on the system, what type of update, whether it is some patch, firmware, etc.

If you are not aware I advise you to seek some readings and videos to reiterate about it before performing any procedure.

Black screens, LED problems and those reported mostly have nothing to do with bios.
