Having a couple of issues with my Helios 500

Hi all, I got my Predator Helios 500 (i7, GTX 1070) last week and thought that I would add a second SSD in (a WD Blue 3D 250GB) to put all my music and videos in, but it's not detecting it at all. I checked on the BIOS, and it's not detected. Swapped slots, and it wasn't detected but the original SSD was. Changed to AHCI, wasn't detected. Starting to think that it's the SSD that might be at fault, and I don't have another PC to test it on. I've tried mostly everything I've read on other posts here re the second M.2 drive and I've never been able to even get it to detect. Would probably be worth taking it it to the place I got the SSD from and get them to try it out?

Another issue is that the trackpad can be a bit too sensitive at times. I'd be scrolling and it would then just shoot up or down really fast, kind of gets really annoying. I've set touchpad sensitivity to the lowest I can go.

Third one is the trackpad would not respond when holding a key. I know it's kind of stupid to try and play FPS games with a trackpad, but still... cant find the SmartSense settings either.

Out of those three things, it's an excellent notebook PC, kind of overkill for me, to be quite honest. Still very happy with it, but would really like to sort out the issues I'm having with it.

@not_raph my best guess its to get an m.2 usb adapter/enclosure and test it to rule out if its really the ssd or not i have a wd blue 2tb on my G3-572 and it works fine but again i only have one m.2 slot regarding the trackpad it wasn't meant to be for gaming but just normal browsing/work personally i never use the trackpads on any laptop i always use a usb wireless mouse but you can check the bios settings fro the trackpad as see if you are able to change from advanced to another option or whatever is there and see if you have any improvements
