acer care center shows me that attention required after making health check up

 its been only 5 months since i bought my laptop when i try to reach customer support it states me that u are out of warranty period

    Reach out to customer care with purchase receipt showing your purchase date on it.

    Yup as @sri369 said you need to always have a proof or purchase with you either electronic or in paper because just the serial number its not enough and the shop/seller where you bought it probably had it in shelf/stock for a long time before selling it and i suppose thats why acer support says your warranty expired because the 1 year warranty starts as soon as it goes to the shops stock its what they have registered on their system but if you show them your proof of purchase it will be fine they will accept it and give you the months you have still left and by the way which exact model are we talking about ?
