Have a Acer TC-885-ACCFLi30 Aspire TC-885
It has Dual HDMI ports that work great in Windows.
Has 1 VGA port that I normally don't use.
For new job they use some program based on Linux that currently only shows 1 hdmi monitor. They say there is no way to fix from their end.
Questions.
1. I can get a splitter that might/might not work in the linux.
OR
2. Can I use the vga for the 2nd monitor at the same time?
Less cost. and have vga cables.
but I get errors when I plug in the vga telling me to use the better HDMI option.

If not independent displays, an HDMI hub should should be fine. If not, you might be able to independently use VGA port by disabling the graphics controller in the BIOS advanced tab section. If it's greyed out it should be disabled by default. Jack E/NJ
