Hello,
If I am just working on say my WS Word document, then there are no issues with my trackpad. But if I have several websites open, then sometimes it is hard to find my cursor or to highlight a text on a webpage. Does anyone else have any issues with their trackpad? Does Acer have a diagnostic tool that one can run to verify if the trackpad is functioning correctly before I send it to the service center?
Thank You

There are memory limits to how many websites and/or apps you can have running at one time without adversely affecting input hardware like the KB, touchpad, mouse, touchscreen (if you have one) since all this hardware uses/shares this memory as well. Your laptop is limited in this respect since its memory cannot be increased. From your description, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with your touchpad. Accordingly, the only solution is to reduce the number of apps and webpages you have open at one time. Jack E/NJ

Thank you for the suggestion(s). I ended up turning to Acer service center and they did acknowledge that the trackpad was not very responsive, They reassembled it and not it seems better.
