Hey to all, I am experimenting some issues whit my new laptop, I install a few games (oldies). When I am playing the games, the Nvidia driver stops working and the game crash. the first time I got this error, the Nvidia driver was disabled and I got this error:
Nvidia display settings are not available
I fixed this issue doing a clean rest of the laptop.
The second time I was playing the Witcher and the game crashed, my second monitor was not detected and also the Nvidia driver was not detected.. I restart the laptop and windows crash, sending me an error. After the restar, the laptop was working fine and the Nvidia is detected...
Does anyone have a fix for this error? this is only happing with old games, I was able to play Fornite, Apex, Wow without any issues

Try installing an older version of nvidia drivers and give it a try.

Do this -- install display driver uninstaller (DDU) and then uninstall your nvidia completely, and install the older version of drivers.

I am also having the same issue but only when playing fortnite, when I'm playing any other game, my GPU works fine, but when I play fortnite, my game crashes and then it tells me that my GPU is "disconnected" and then I have to soft reset my battery and then only does it show my GPU again.
Is there any fix for this?

sidd328 fortnite pubg rust and some other games are really badly optimized games and that can create issues with some gpus its not the gpu/friver fault its the game itself that makes it crash due to the lack of optimization from the game devs themselves you can try the latest gamescon nvidia driver as they say its 26% performance improvement and they added a new option that you can disable the low latency as far as i have seen from ppl i know that tested it even on 1060's it performs better and less thermal heating for both cpu/gpu but im not moving up never had issues with my old driver :)

Another thing I noticed was while playing Fortnite, This problem only occurred while skydiving or gliding. I don't get why this is happening, any help would be appreciated

sidd328 as i said badly optimized games can cause serious issues you have to find a way to optimize the game yourself since the devs wont care about it
