Predator Helios PH315 Shutting Off Randomly(?)

This seems to be a fairly common complaint going back a few years but I have not found any solution that works for me.

In short, my Predator Helios 300 [PH315-51-78NP] has shut off about a half dozen times this afternoon with no discernable pattern. Some details:
- Brand new laptop,
- No undervolting / overclocking / etc.,
- Running on AC power with battery fully charged,
- No obvious overheating problems, at least according to Windows or the PredatorSense app.
- No obvious battery/AC adapter physical damage or failure. The laptop has been motionless on a sturdy desk.
- Laptop occasionally (and randomly?) shuts off, as if the power from both the AC Adapter and Battery simultaneously died.

I have tried the following recommended steps I've seen from similar threads:
1) Battery reset from the back panel,
2) Disable Windows Fast Start,
[The above two steps seem to allow me to turn the laptop back on immediately after it shuts off, without having to perform a battery reset each time, which is a bit of an improvement but still not ideal.]
3) Checked for faulty switch next to RAM slots, (my model does not have a switch in this location, instead it has been replaced with a flat piece of grey metal,)
4) Downloaded the latest BIOS, Intel SSD firmware, and Nvidia drivers from the Acer website.
5) Tried multiple wall outlets in different rooms.

At what point do I know it is a hardware problem with the motherboard/PSU/something else and send it in for a refund/replacement?

Well if you already tried all those steps and the issue remain its a good possibility that might be a hardware issue i would contact the seller/shop where you bought it or acer support for a repair/replacement asap if its still on warranty

PS: have you checked your temps is the laptop overheating just wondering as if it overheats it will shut down and that means the paste its dry (or bad repaste) and it needs to be repasted again with a good thermal paste like kryonaut do not recommend doing it yourself if you are on warranty and have warranty seals anyway this is just a guess i would send it for warranty as i said above its the safest option
