Hello. So I have Acer Nitro 5 An515-41-f3k8. Everything was fine, I have laptop since 2018 August. Had issues with performance, but still had to use it due there was no fix. Had low fps in all games, different settings, fps wouldnt change. Tried to update bios to performance fix in software/updates from acer page. Was a tiny difference in loading times. I feel like I got ripped off, because for the price of this laptop you could deffinately get something better.
Then yesterday came. I was playing CSGO as usual. Played some games and then all of a sudden in last game on loading screen on competetive match the laptop froze completely. The picture was frozen. Time passed, got a ban plus a drank. After that I hard reztarted laptop with button due to no response. It took ages to show acer logo, then black screen for about 10 mins and logs popped up saying os system failure or something like that. Then I thought it was problem of os after latest update. So I got a fresh win10 pro on a flash drive using rufus. It took about 30 mins for blue windows installation screen to pop up saying 'The systrm seems to lack either network cards or network drivers' pressed ok and it took 10 mins to open choose language bit, then about 10 mins inbetween boxes of installation, got to choose drive box and there it was, everything f****** wiped and nothing on drives. Ive lost everything I had on laptop. Everything. And I went ok, will try to install fresh os. Was ***** off, pressed next on drives selection when selected drive and left laptop for 30mins, came back, frozen in the same place I left it. Any suggestions? Waste of money otherwise. I really dont know what to do.

If the WinPro iso hasn't wiped the hidden ACER recovery partition, you can try the ALT+F10 cold boot reset the machine to factory fresh as shown in the video below. Shut the machine completely off. Then turn it back on again and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. Don't wait for the ACER logo to appear.  If the re-set fails, you should arrange for warranty service ASAP at this link https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/support  Jack E/NJ

It works fine now, I tried to do what I did ages ago with my acer pc mobo acer-ipimb-ar. The 1tb hdd has passed bye bye. I removed it and the laptop works fine. I thing I will replace it with ssd. Thanks for answering and even if I tried to get the screen you showed, I couldnt because it didnt load anything from old os except fpr new one in usb and bios loaded for 20 mins. Now its good when hdd is removed. Thanks. But sucks because lost everything on there. Will get it tested.Â
