For an Aspire A715-72G, what are the options for replacing the HDD with an SDD?

What do I need to know? What will the laptop support? Is it difficult to replace the old with a new? Recommendations for an SDD manufacturer or model?

The laptop will support both a 2.5" SSD and an m.2 SSD card. The easiest is to swap a 2.5" HDD with a 2.5" SSD through the HDD door on the bottom cover. The m.2 SSD card can be added by removing the bottom cover and the battery. Go to crucial dot com for specifications on compatible SSD upgrades. They're fairly competitive, very reliable and guaranteed to work. Jack E/NJ

What is a m.2 SSD card? How many hard drives can the laptop support at once? Do I need to remove the HDD if the m.2 SSD card is used? Which works better?
