I know there's some previous topic of this nature but the question wasn't very clear. Basically I just need to know what type of SSD is in this. I'm new to the integrated SSD drives and see there's a number of types, ie M2, NVME, some mention of 2280, and SATA? I don't understand the whole PCI thing either, I'm not up on anything to do with these. The connectors look different ie, one ridge in, two ridges in (like the dips in ram sticks). I would take it out to have a look but it's at a repair shop and I'm checking if I can do it cheaper myself before a quote comes back which I won't know is fair or not. Any help most appreciated.

You have two m.2 SSD slots in your system. One is for an m.2 nvme/pcie SSD. And one is for an m.2 SATA3 SSD. The nvme SSD can be about 4 times faster than a SATA SSD. Images of the nvme and SATA3 SSDs are shown below. Jack E/NJ
