Acer predator 17 won't turn or charge... Is it done for?

Worked fine yesterday, now it won't start. It wony show lights for charging or anything. Complwtely unresponsive. Is there a fix?

Did you try resetting the battery?

I've used a mechanical pencil to press in the button. Is there more to it than that?0
