Video Stuttering when using non-SSD in Predator PH315-51 laptop

I just bought Predator PH315-51 a few days ago and I'm facing video stuttering whenever I play it from my HDD. But Videos doesn't stutter when I'm playing it from SSD. Is the problem in HDD or Graphic Card cause if it's a serious issue I can ask for a replacement cause my laptop is in return period. If there is a solution, please tell me what to do.

    Probably the HDD is too slow for the game. What HDD brand and model number? Jack E/NJ

    It just happens when watching videos not when playing games. I just bought the laptop so haven't tried playing games yet. I've tried vlc and windows default video app, the problem is occurring on both of them. The frequency of stuttering is 2-3 times an hour but when I played in SSD, there's been no problem. HDD is Toshiba MQ04ABF100.

    Shouldn't be HDD issue unless your HDD is falling apart. Try playing videos on VLC instead of windows bundled player.

    I've used VLC, the problem still occurs. I have 3 days left in my return period and there's also backlight bleeding in my screen. Backlight bleeding I can ignore but the laptop can't even play a video properly on hdd. So should I ask for a replacement or contact acer support first. Please tell me what should I do. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the advice. I asked for the replacement and will be approved after a visit by the technician.
