I want to buy Acer Nitro AN515-42-R8DU ( NH.Q3REY.002 )
Comes with 2x4 2133 ram ( seller told me so). I'm planning to replace one of the 4gb ram with 8gb ram.
My question is can I use 2400 mhz ram with stock 2133 ram? will work dual channel? I'm asking this because 2133 mhz rams are expensive in my country, almost double the 2400 or 2600 mhz ram prices. I don't know why.
Also there is a lot of variations of this laptop model and most of them are 2400 mhz ram supported. Why Acer Nitro AN515-42-R8DU variation uses 2133 mhz, isn't it same mainboard?

I can't edit my post, stock ram is ddr4 2133 mhz ram. Also mistyped topic name.0
