One of the screws on my spin 1 has come out, what are the specs of the screws so I can get a replacement?

Hello,Thanks. The specifications of the screw are: M2*L5.0. The four screws near the hinge are the same. You should also measure the diameter of the head.1

I usually source those through somewhere like Amazon. I find that local hardware stores don't usually have that small of size. You are likely to end up with 99 extras.

Acer doesn't sell a screw kit, you have to purchase the right sized screws yourself. Which screws are you missing?

None of those are the flat head type you should in your post. They all don't have the taper under the head. Which screws are you asking about?

I have the same missing screw. Apparently this model is prone to these popping out or breaking. I was also told by a repair shop guy that it might also have a rivet piece at the bottom that holds it in and in which case a new screw won't work. Can anyone confirm this before I order the replacement one suggested by a billsey?0

It depends on what is causing the screws to fall out. If the plastic of the cover that anchors the screw is cracked or stripped then it will need repair before a new screw will stay in place.
