Unable to change brightness (swift sf314-52).
I have an ACER Swift 3 (swift sf314-52). I updated it yesterday to "version 1809 amd64 2019-03". I honestly have little to no idea what to do when it comes to computers, so that's why I'm here. I only made this account to ask some questions.
- After the update I'm unable to change the brightness on my computer. I'm very sensitive to light and I have no idea how to change it. I tried doing some research of how to fix it somehow, but nothing worked. I went into the Device Manager, Display adapters and then "Intel(R) HD Graphics 610" (who has a triangle on it). I went into properties and it says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". The only thing I was able to somehow fix this issue was to download f.lux, but that's not really what I need. I need to be able to control the brightness on my computer manually.
- The layout of the computer was even changed due to the update. Everything "shrinked"/got smaller. I was able to go into Display settings and change the size from 100% recommended to 150%. That's annoying.
So if anyone out there know how to fix this issue at all, I'd gladly appreciate it. I've honestly thought about buying a new computer, but I don't have that type of money right now.
