Hi i just recently bought the Acer Predator Helios 300 like literally 2 days ago and i realise that the battery will drain out within 2 hours plus from just surfing the net and watching videos. Is this normal ? Also when i do play games like Dota 2 at max settings with the charger plugged in i get something like a lag spikes that happens quite often even though in the game i have an fps of 110-120. Tried putting the CPU and GPU fan to the max and the temperature reaches to about 86 to 90 degrees celsius and the lag spikes still happens quite often. Is the temperature too high ?

Temps are normal under  heavy gaming load. To prevent lagging at or below these temps, battery should be near 100% charged, charger plugged in and power plan set to performance mode BEFORE you start heavy loads. 2+ hrs from 'just' surfing and watching videos sounds good to me too. It'll probably improve with a dozen or so charging cycles and power plan set back to Balanced mode.  Jack E/NJ
