Right now the power button is apart of the keyboard. And the acer nitro 5 is powered off, meaning a cannot turn the laptop on. Any suggestions?

    > Unplug the adapter
    > Flip the unit upside down and look for battery reset pinhole
    > use a paper clip or any suitable tool and insert into this pinhole. Hold it about 30 - 40 sec without power cable
    > Once done, turn on the unit and check

No, it did not work...sorry for the long wait.
No need to be sorry... in that case i'm afraid to say that either the keyboard has to be replaced or the device has to be serviced.

You could use an external keyboard. However, the power button has to work to turn on the device.
