The machine can't be accidentally flashed with the older version. Immediately return it to the vendor/seller as defective for a refund or exchange before the vendor's RMA return time period expires.  ACER warranty repair will take longer. Jack E/NJ

You can try to get it repaired thru this link https://www.acer.com/ac/en/PH/content/support   I doubt the serial number id (SNID) will work for a NZ sold unit but you may be able to get service thru more direct phone or email links to Phiippines ACER certified service  centers on this link https://www.acer.com/ac/en/PH/content/service-contact  But I still think it may be easier & faster to contact and try to handle it thru the NZ vendor/seller ASAP.  Jack E/NJ
