My laptop suddenly runs only on the power outlet, looks like it is charging and only stays on 91%, when I unplug the power supply, it turns off
Anyone know if the battery burned? strange that appears to be charging, I already disassembled the notebook and checked the battery connectors, Notebook acer E5-575G-53VG

NO way! Re-read the numbers. Don't overlook the zeroes! it's capacity is only at 38mWh not 38,000mWh! 38mWh wouldn't run your laptop for more than a second or two. Jack E/NJ

Your battery's design capacity is about 60Wh or 60,000mWh. Your's is only showing about 40mWh. You need a new battery. Here's a comparison of what's left of your battery's ~60,000mWh capacity and my battery's ~40,000mWh. Jack E/NJ

but this only shows that my battery is "hooked", operating at a little more than half its capacity, anyway it should keep the computer on for half of the normal time, right?

Yes. This is strange to happen suddenly. Do you recall the last time that it seemed to run OK on battery alone? Jack E/NJ

I do not remember, but it was suddenly one day it was working normally and the other I realized that it only worked with the source connected.

If you have a multimeter, the battery's (A) DC voltage output should be checked between the red and black wired connector points after it's pulled off the mainboard (B). Should be about 12vdc. The charger's output plug should be 19vdc. Jack E/NJ
