Whitelist? Aspire 5 515-51G

So, I have a laptop with a decent CPU for gaming and I bought a NGFF to PCIE adapter.

Its just re-wireing, no active components.

Tried with my 1050Ti got a black screen and the laptop doesn't seem to boot.

Got my old 8500GT and it worked like a PC, same with my 560Ti and a r7 270.

Bought a 1070 Strix, same black screen so I sold it.

I just bought an RX480 with the idea that Acer (my laptop make) didnt purge the AMD cards, guess what. Black Screen when I turn on the laptop, usb devices dont work its just a really fast fan and nothing else.

Is it a whitelisted ngff slot?

Or can I disable the DGPU on a hardware level?

Atleast tell me if Acer didnt sell me the whole product so I know that I shouldn't EVER buy Acer again. I've lost enough money around

What OS do you have installed on the laptop? Is the BIOS set to UEFI or Legacy? From what I understood 8500GT, GTX 560Ti and AMD R7 270 work fine.

Is it necessary to install a modified bios and change the speed of the wlan minipcie port so that dgpu or egpu works correctly?

Yes they work fine, the laptop becomes like a PC its BIOS Factory password on there makes me wanna die. Windows 10,and its NGFF not mini pcie

If you know what the BIOS password is you can remove it by changing the password without entering any digits in the password field and pressing enter.

Is the BIOS set to UEFI or Legacy? You can find that opening RUN and then entering msinfo32. You can find what the BIOS mode is in system summary.
