Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52-512J WiFi Driver

Hey guys! I have a question in regards to the WiFi driver for my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52-512J. When I bought it from the store, it had a Windows 10 Home (testing version) installed, which worked perfectly, but unfortunately I never thought of checking the installed drivers.

After I got it, I reinstalled Windows as I have a license for Windows 10 Pro, so I wanted to use it. Afterwards, I installed all drivers, however, the WiFi drivers now started acting out in a pretty odd fashion. Sometimes, if I download something, it drops to 0.1 kb/s or just loses connection altogether, then it comes back within seconds and resumes downloading at high speed, then goes back down and so forth. This never happened on the initial version of the Windows I bought it with, so I'm assuming it has to be a driver issue.

The thing is, on the Acer official website, there are 2 choices for the WiFi drivers, namely Intel and Atheros, and I'm not sure which one is the correct one. I've tried them both, and just Intel seems to function, but in the manner I said above, which loses strength and even signal.

I've tried anything I could think of / found online, updated drivers, reinstalled them, but it's still behaving like this.

The driver I'm currently using is Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 160Mhz (20.120.1.1).

Do you guys have any tips or ideas as to what I can try or do? Thank you so much!

I think I finally managed to fix it. I accidentally installed the Qualcomm Atheros driver since it was on my model's drivers list, and when I saw it isn't working, I went with the Intel WiFi one, but forgot to uninstall Atheros. Thanks for your time and help guys!

Are you connected to the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz network?
Have you tested in other networks behavior?

Heya and thank you for your answer!
Yup, I did install it from the developer's website, and that's the driver version I'm currently running (the latest one).
Not particulary sure as to whether 2.4 or 5Ghz, but prior to the OS reinstall, it never acted like this.
And yes, it behaves the same regardless of the network or router (except for LAN cable).

Do you live in a residential block or in a place with a lot of people nearby? Could it be that other routers are using the same wifi channels.

Download a Linux distro like Ubuntu and run it in live mode and make sure the wifi connects normally.
What release version of your Windows 10, 1803 or 1809?

@WFox - nope, quite the opposite actually.

Is there any particular software that can monitor my network activity for a bit and show the logs as to what's happening or why it suddenly gets disconnected then reconnected at least? Maybe I can at least narrow it down based on that. I've googled it and tried a bunch of different ones, but none worked as intended in this regard.
