OSD Red Joystick control button

Anyone who has the red circular joystick button that controls the OSD on their predator monitor: should this button feel stiff and firm or loose to the touch?  I am asking because I just bought a XB273K and this button feels very loose and not intuitive although it still functions and works. Also there is some noticeable sag when the button is at default resting position. I am assuming this button probably came loose during shipping and would like to confirm this. I don't want to risk sending the monitor through the stress of shipping again for just this issue as the panel itself has no visible issues so far.

Here are some pictures, any info or help would be appreciated as I contacted Acer and they seem to know very little about their own products and could not answer this question.
