Apsire E5-575-33BM keyboard incorrect characters

I have an Aspire E5-575-33BM. The system just had a new SSD installed with Windows 10. The keyboard has issues with incorrect characters. All the #'s on the number pad, arrow keys and backspace do not do what they should. Not sure if the system came with Windows 10 or was upgraded to 10 from an earlier version. When the system was given to me, it had windows 10 and the keyboard issues existed. Ruling out virus or spyware since a clean image was installed on a new SSD. I have tried the following:

Disabled Filter keys.

Uninstalled the keyboard in Device Manager.

Tried keyboard driver update but could not find specific driver on Acer site.

Messed with Language settings but US English was already set.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hello! What is the bios version? Is there an option with the name function key behavior in bios? Are there any drivers with bios problems? Have you been to this site to do the key test? http://en.key-test.ru/

The BIOS updated on the Acer site do not give much detail. All the drivers look like they have no issues. I did the key test and all the issues pop up on the right side of the keyboard.

OK! I would like to know if in the bios there is a function like the name function key behavior? These programs do not contain any viruses. The ideal is to run them in safe mode!

Also, did you spill any liquid on the keyboard or dropped the notebook?

This was a brand new hard drive with a fresh install of Windows. No data was transferred from the old hard drive to the new so there is no possibility of virus or malware. I checked the BIOS and I did not see anything corresponding to keyboard. The BIOS seems very primitive. I am unaware of any drop or spill because I am just repairing the system, it is not mine.

Does the keyboard language match the windows language? Have you tried updating bios to see if it solved the problem? When you press the numlook key, do the numbers appear correctly? When you disable numlook, do the other functions on the numeric keypad such as page down and page up work?

I just updated the BIOS to BIOS Version/Date Insyde Corp. V1.47, 9/6/2018
The Windows Language is English (United States) and the keyboard language is US QWERTY.

The BIOS upgrade did not resolve the issue. The numlock key when on or off, does not display the proper keys. They display different characters when on and a different set of characters when off. Neither of which are the correct characters.

Is your notebook under warranty? Have you checked that disconnecting the keyboard from the motherboard solves the problem? Also, when connecting an external keyboard, do the keys also have the same problem?

Out of warranty by 6 months and no extended warranty available. I just took apart the laptop and reconnected all cables but that did not resolve the issue. When an external keyboard is plugged in, the keys work perfectly. Not sure if it is worth the investment to purchase a new internal keyboard with no guarantee that the new keyboard will work properly.

This notebook came with windows 10 home single language! have you tried using the alt + f10 command before the acer logo to reinstall windows? Have you also tried resetting the internal battery?

I am unable to use the alt + f10 option since the hard drive has been replaced and reinstalled with Windows 10 again. I have already done the battery reset by using a paperclip.
