The main problem started with a software download called TWEAKING.COM BY WINDOWS 10, then the pc got stuck in blue screen with the error Bad System Configuration and I tried all their fixes did not work, Microsoft support helped me make  the USB recovery and went through the steps did not work and so I got the  command prompt open and that is when I realized my pc was  X: Drive not C: so I came her and followed the instructions to change some things in the BIOS and followed the instructions to insert the USB recovery disk picked the boot option and then I got the message DEFAULT BOOT DEVICE MISSING OR BOOT FAILED and now I'm stuck in BOOT MANAGER PLEASE HELP

Shut the machine completely off. Remove the USB recovery stick. Then turn it back on again and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. If the Microsoft generic USB Win10 recovery stick hasn't deleted  your hidden ACER-specific recovery partition yet, a recovery screen should appear as in the video below. Follow video instructions to reset your machine to a factory fresh ACER-specific version of Win10. Jack E/NJ

Thank you for answering my post I did the steps you sent and it did not work. When I did all the steps to  recover my pc and it was time to insert he USB and I followed the steps and in the boot option page I had two to chose from  so I chose on and   it started to check for media and now I'm stuck in Boot manager with the error message Default Boot Device so I hit the okay button then it sends me to Boot option menu and on and on  Thank You JacKe

Disregarding the USB pendrive, did the ALT+F10 cold boot at least bring up the recovery screen or not? The ACER recovery does not use the pendrive. It makes a difference in making suggestion if the ACER screen appears or doesn't appear. Jack E/NJ

No the ALT+F10 did not work. It puts be back to the Boot options screen I have tried the options one at a time inserting the USB recovery stick then a screen comes on  saying checking for media but it never finds anything no matter which key I press it goes right back to Default Boot Device missing or Boot Failed and no matter which key I tap to try and escape that screen I cannot do It. I'm so frustrated

Try this. Turn the machine completely off again. Then turn it back on and immediately start tapping the F2 key to bring up the BIOS menu screen. The first BIOS screen is called the Information tab. What do you see? A screen shot from a cell phone would be great if possible. If not, does there seem to be a disk drive (for example, HDD0 or SSD0 or eMMC or something similar) that's identified on the screen? Jack E/NJ

OK. Go to the Security tab. Set a supervisor password. Don't forget it. Then exit and save setting. Shut down again. Then turn it back on again and immediately start tapping F2 again. Then re-enter the BIOS menu with your supervisor password. The go to the Boot tab and disable secure boot. Then re-arrange the Boot order so you recovery USB stick (USB FDD or HDD) is first in the boot order. Then exit and save setting again. Shut down again. Insert the USB recovery stick. Turn the machine on again and keep your fingers crossed something good starts to happen this time. Jack E?NJ

Your USB installation stick is MBR partitioned. It should be GPT partitioned. How did you make it? If you didn't use this link, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10   , you should re-make the stick following the directions. Jack E/NJ

I made another USB  and my pc found it but when I have to select a driver to install I chose the one I just made and a message pop ups saying No signed device drivers were found. Can I take the USB stick out of that pc and use it to install the signed drivers from the working pc? I will be so glad when this is done

When I get to the  Windows setup part of the USB recovery I get a question asking where to install Windows all the drives are DRIVE 0 Partition Partition and numbered  1 through 5 1 -Total Size- Free Space- Type- System
    2- Total Size - Type-MRS (reserved)
    3-Total Size Type - Primary
    4- Total Size Type -Recovery
    5: Recovery-   Total Size- Type-Recovery
And a lot of options like: Refresh, Load Driver, Delete, Extend, Format
Which one do I use to Format the USB stick into?

Disregard the CD. You must install from the USB stick. If there's an option to re-set or erase everything installation, choose that. If not, please let me know exactly which are options are available. Jack E/NJ
