Hi,
How to get an Acer Aspire XC 885 out of sleep?
I can only manage to do so by using the power switch.
Which USB connections are USB 3.0 and which 2.0?
Thanks

Open Control Panel. Search 'button'. Click 'change what the power buttons do' in the left pane. Setting should be in sleep not hibernate mode. The back of the unit below shows location of the USB2 and 3 ports. Jack E/NJ

    Good Morning sunnyhome !

Firstly, what EXACT template from your desktop?

By default, USB 3.0 ports are identified by the built-in blue connector.

To configure sleep and hibernation settings, read here:

Okay, thanks for the answers. But how do I wake the Aspire? By the power button?

It should wake from sleep by pushing any key, mouse button, touchpad if you have one, or etc. Jack E/NJ

But it doesn't always. Sometimes I have to press the power button to wake it.

Did you change the 'what the power buttons do' setting yet? Open Control Panel. Search 'button'. Click 'change what the power buttons do' in the left pane. Setting should be in sleep --- not hibernate mode ---  not shutdown mode. Jack E/NJ

Does not Windows return or does the monitor display no video?
    There are two different situations.
If the problem is that the minitor does not display video, check the video's settings.
