Aspire A517-51G no output audio device is installed.

Tried all solutions I found online. Updated drivers, nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled audio drivers, nothing. I even reset the computer and still nothing. Please help before i toss this thing out the window.

    Hi Rudy21, I have no sound from my computer at all. In PROPERTIES and then EVENTS tab it says Device ROOT\UNNAMED_DEVICE\0000 requires further installation. I have no idea what that means. I am worried it is a hardware issue but laptop is less than a month old. It's a NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) if that matters,

    UPDATE after what felt like the hundredth attempt, windows diagnostics actually found an fixed the problem. I hope it's permanent.
