Full brightness not working sometimes

Hey recently bought an Acer Swift 3. Sometimes after long standby when I try to change the brightness it won't go up to full brightness. It brightness changes but it won't go up to full brightness. Only a little change is observed.

    Are the power options set to "High Performance"?
    Disable Adaptive Brightness?
