Hi,

We have a few hundred Acer PC's in our environment and were wondering if there is an easy way to determine if they are upgradable to Windows 10 or 8, besides looking at the sticker attached.

Thanks!

I don't think you can determine whether the PC support windows 10, unless you try. You search online to see if the PC supports windows 10.

Also go to BIOS(press F2 at startup) and look for an option to change between Legacy and UEFI. If there is no such an option, then the BIOS is legacy only and the USB drive, which will be used for windows should be MBR partitioned. If it is GPT partitioned, the system won't detect it as a boot drive.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
