There is a continuous noise coming from, I think, the right hand speaker. What is causing this?  It sounds like a fan noise

If you checked through that thread and watched/listened to the videos and your computer is making that exact sound under heavy load, then a mobo replacement is the only fix. I was one of the folks who went through it.

One thing U.S. support was very bad about doing for all of us under warranty with that issue at that time was offering to email a prepaid shipping label. If you are under warranty (in the U.S.) and are instructed to mail your laptop in, make sure you request a shipping label if they do not initially offer one.

    Good luck.

Hi. the computer is a Predator G9, and I found this post - https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/534951/acer-predator-g9-593-buzzing-noise-coming-from-speakers-under-full-load-with-video, with the following message from Acer. I contacted support, went through their instructions finishing with resetting the battery using the pinhole on the back, but the noise came back. Have to contact them again.
    Thanks
