Acer Nitro 5 Running slow

I got a Acer Nitro 5 model ANA515-53 for Christmas and I have had nothing but problems. Lately it has been a bit sluggish and delayed, When playing games such as roblox or emergeNYC I notice things are delayed such as if I kill someone it will shoot but they wont die until 5 seconds later and things of that nature I have also noticed websites are loading slower and internet is a bit sluggish. Also another factor that may be playing a part is when I boot up my machine it starts making a crackling noise right near the arrow keys on the bottom right of the keyboard, It's generally quiet but this morning was quite loud. Anyone have any Idea what could be causing the slowness and delay, I may bring it into geek squad this weekend if no change happens soon.

Make sure the disk is 100% in the task manager and also check the health of hd with crystaldiskinfo: https://crystalmark.info/en/download/#CrystalDiskInfo

My disk isn’t 100 percent it’s not suppose to be I was told.

Can you record an audio with the crackling? Is it fan noise?

Hello everyone, i am facing a problem with the same laptop actually whenever i open a game it automatically shutdown no matter if its connected to adapter or not... And there is no such heating problem

Ideally, you should create a new topic with exact specifications of your notebook model! That way, your doubt will be seen by other users! However, have you checked that the disk is 100%?
