I have a predator G3-572. I bought it from Flipkart on woman's Day offer on 8/3/2018  for 60k. Initially I was not using it for gaming, IIwas just using it for normal purposes.
But recently i started some games on it like Far cry 3, cs go.
Average temperature I am getting is around 87°C and it also gives spikes upto 97°C.
So, I reported a complaint for this to Acer care.
The Technician did thermal pasting using paste Artic silver 5, but I haven't found any temperature decrement in cpu temperature it's still goes upto 97°C.
Then that technician discussed with his seniors over this topic and that seniors was saying that, 98° is very normal  temperature for cpu of Predator and it can tolerate upto 120°C very easily.

I don't guys what to do in this condition, Plz help me out, tell me whatever information you know about this.

( My warranty is expiring on 8/3/2019 ) that's why I am in tension about this. I have to report it before expiry of date if I have any problem.

Plz help faster !!

97C-98C(in a case of very poorly applied thermal paste you can see it go up to 100C) is pretty much the max temperature you will see a CPU ever reach. Anything higher than that and the system will shut down to prevent damage to the CPU. Before repasting you mentioned that the average temperature is around 87C, which isn't so bad and it could be easily reduced by undervolting the CPU with throttlestop. Temperatures spikes(higher than the average temperature) are normal and they won't damage or throttle the CPU. In other words what you should be looking for is the average temperature not going above 85C, not the max temperature that usually lasts for miliseconds.

Was there any temperature improvement at all after the repaste with arctic silver 5?

What is the GPU temperature like?

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

You can try undervolting the CPU with throttlestop to reduce the CPU's temperature. Many guides can be found online explaining how to undervolt. Undervolting is harmless and doesn't reduce performance.

I am not very familiar with how the performance in games should be, as it heavily depends on what settings you are playing the game on.

You can check online how other devices with a similar hardware perform. Also make sure Vsync is disabled.

Undervolting may void the warranty, but if you factory reset windows before sending the laptop the service centre, there is no way for them to find out whether you have undervolted or not.

After thermal pasting I haven't found any temperature decrement, it's average is still at 87-88 and have spikes upto 97-98.

And the gpu temperature is about 82 and have spikes upto 88 (same before and after pasting )

And I observed during pasting that, the Technician used thermal paste in proper amount means it was more than sufficient

This can depend on several factors.
You can find what they are from my post in this topic:
    https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/649431

Repasting improves temperatures only if the previous thermal paste has degraded/dryed out or too little has been used.

I you use TS and want to go back to stock just delete TS folder then shutdown (not reboot) after boot into bios and run setup defaults and you are on stock again bar in mind the laptop may also shutdown/bsod dur to too much/less undervolt it has to be the exact amount its a trial and error until you get to the perfection i just followed Hotel Hero remix video setup everything manually with the values on the video and its the same values i have for one year now and not a single issue
