Help/Advice needed for the RAM upgrade -- Aspire E5-575-33BM

Hello there!

I would like to upgrade my Acer Aspire E5-575-33BM laptop, but I'm far from being a tech-savvy person. Specs:
- i3-7100 2.4GHz
- 4GB DDR4 2133
- 1 TB HDD
- Intel HD 620

So I decided to finally upgrade it by adding another 4GB of RAM and a 500GB SSD, because it's annoying slow. Apparently, the best RAM I could get for it is "Crucial 4GB Single DDR4 2133 MT/s (PC4-17000)", link - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015HQ9SI6/ref=psdc_172500_t3_B014R8JO2U

However, since Amazon isn't available in my country I need to settle for an alternative. I kindly ask for help, because I am not sure which one of the following models would be the best match for its motherboard:

I cannot see if there is much of a difference between the three, but from what I can tell - the last one seems to be the closest to the Crucial RAM linked at the beginning of the post, specs-wise.

If anyone is willing to help me out to narrow it down, or even explain to me what is it I should be looking for, I would greatly appreciate it.

Lastly, is my laptop even worth investing in? Putting another 4GB of RAM and a 500 SSD ( https://eu.crucial.com/eur/en/ssd/series/MX500 ) would cost me $150 buying it locally, for the laptop I bought for $350.

The biggest bang for the dinar would be the SSD. The extra RAM would be hardly noticeable. Jack E/NJ

If you are doing a lot of heavy-tab browsing, then 4GB would benefit you more than an SSD, especially if you are using chrome.

2400MHz RAM should in theory work with 2133MHz by being downclocked to 2133MHz, but there are rare cases where the system doesn't do that and won't boot. In that case you should swap the places of the modules. You also have to find out what is CAS latency(CL) of the 2400MHz, when it is working at 2133MHz, because it has to match the latency of the existing memory module.

The 2400MHz module won't behave any differently than any other 2133MHz module, when paired with a 2133MHz RAM.

Hello Mr Jack E, and thank you for your reply sir! Well, I need no convincing - I have just ordered an SSD. I imagine it will be a massive boost to its sluggish performance.

But regarding my memory dilemma, sadly enough I have nothing I could compare it with... Will I gain anything significant by adding an additional 4GB of RAM? Both the processor and the graphics are bad (especially the latter). I use my laptop mostly for heavy multi-tab browsing, music and movies. Some "light" gaming rarely (mostly older titles as my FPS is dreadful), it is a mediocre spec after all.

While I am on the topic.. Let me ask away. Seeing how my motherboard only supports 2133MHz, are there any cons to buying 2400MHz RAM? I know that my system will underclock it to 2133MHz anyway, but are there any genuine disadvantages? I have been aiming to get the same speed as my original stick, as I assume it would work the best as a whole.

I learnt something valuable and I now know what to expect and look for when upgrading my laptop.

I will firstly install the SSD I have ordered and see how will that behave. If it is further needed, I will get more RAM after.
