Running a Predator Helios PH315 and have had microphone issues since day one. I have a duel 3.5 mm connection on my Sennheiser Game One headset so I have tried to use a USB audio adapter. I have used two brands of audio adapters so far and even a duel female 3.5mm headjack and mic splitter to male 3.5mm line input. Nothing Works. I can get the mic to be recognized by the laptop but i literally have to scream into the microphone for it to register the slightest sound. When it does register my voice, the output sound is so muffled and distorted it can't even be picked up. Already tried uninstalling, and reinstalling audio drivers with no resolution. Anyone have any thoughts about this?

I'm aware there is a built in mic but the overall quality of that internal microphone is NOT the quality i am looking for. Do you know how i can use both the mic and earphone on my headset?

@Jaydecay123 i'm not sure as i dont have neither use any headset but you should be able to choose in sound options which mic you want to use (technically) this if it doesnt override the internal mic when u plugin your headset, does your headset has any drivers that u might have to install first either that or if its plug'n play have u tried it on another device pc/laptop to see if it works there might be a compatibility issue thats the only thing that comes to mind u might want to try this troubleshoot video tough
