Completely shut off your computer. Then turn it back on and IMMEDIATELY press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10 key. A recovery screen should appear. Follow direction to reset the computer to a factory fresh state. If it doesn't work, better tell us your model number. Jack E/NJ

I'm having the same issues. Is there an iso we can download?

Use the Microsoft media creation tool to create a Win10 USB installation pendrive. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

I did that but my only option here is a total reinstall of win 10. Restore from image is failing. I was hoping to reset to factory default image.
does ACER supply a default image I can download for my laptop?

Sorry no. If the machine was purchased in the US or Canada, you can order the original factory installation USB (or DVD disc) for your machine based on its serial number id (SNID) from the ACER online store for about $50USD. Jack E/NJ
