Hi there,

I bought Acer KG281K monitor which supports 4K 60Hz. I connected it to my Laptop's HDMI port. But for some reason I get only 30 Hz. Is it because HDMI port ? or is there anything else ?

My Laptop is Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBN

And I use HDMI 2.0 Cable

Anything to suggest me ?

It is very likely that the monitor supports 4K@60Hz via DP only. Only HDMI 2.0 or higher supports 4K at 60Hz and it is very possible that the monitor's HDMI version is 1.4, which is only able to output 4k at 30Hz.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
