Helios300 issues

Got an Acer Helios 300 6mths ago , first gaming laptop as usually have desktops. Not a good experience so far , worked fine for 3mths then started switching itself off when in  use and would not start up again for a couple of days. Advised by Acer to try battery reset but still took 24hrs+ before it would power up again and carried on switching itself off. Sent it to Acer for repair , faulty main board replaced, got it back and it worked for 1 day then once I switched it off it would not come back on again , sent to Acer again for repair. Acer could not find any faults , it was obviously working ok when they tested it. Received it back again on on a Friday it worked fine for 2 days until I tried to switch it on Sunday morning and nothing. Packed it up and returned it to the shop I bought it from , I got a replacement unit but I am wondering now if I should have taken a refund and try another make of laptop. It is still unboxed as I haven't made my mind up what to do ,  has anyone else had the same issues with their Helios 300 , also any suggestions for a reliable make of laptop. Thanks.

    Ghengisbob i think it’s a matter of taking a decision, i mean if you really want the refund and think you will find a better product somewhere else, then go ahead and return this unit ASAP and don’t open it because at one point if it has issues and time passes then you won’t be able to return it and it will be just calling for Acer warranty support services (which is only repair)... personally i haven’t had issues like this with my Acer units so it can be also an isolated case here... i know u will say but there's a lot of report in the community about issues... well, that’s what’s the community for here mate and also tell me what company does not have it?

    Thanks Coqui13 I have decided to keep the new one , I hope I have just been unlucky with the first. I had a look at other laptops with the same spec then checked reviews and they all have the odd horror story in the reviews so I guess I have just been unlucky. Thanks for answering mate it is much appreciated.

    First thing to do its to optimize windows/undervolt then if still having issues with your temps repaste
