The first port at the bottom supports NVMe, while the other port above it is M.2 SATA. The best M.2 SSD you can purchase in my opinion is the samsung 970 pro.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Ok, Im not new to computers but I am to nvme and m.2. So I have one of each port, one storage and one for the OS? And I'm not sure how much each slot supports.

By how much do you mean the maximum storage supported by the M.2 port? If that is what you are asking, there is no storage limit.
