Hello

My model is the Acer Aspire VN7-593G.

I recently bought an eGPU enclosure (omen accelerator). I plugged the device via thunderbolt and it recognized the device as an usb hub device. I tested the enclosure on another laptop and it worked like a charm. I compared the two what was different and i noticed that on my laptop there is no thunderbolt controller:

I have installed the thunderbolt driver on the acer website but it still does not show up.

If you need more information just ask.
Thank you in advance.

I know my laptop has thunderbolt. But my issue is that if i plug a thunderbolt device (for example the egpu) in it recognizes it as a normal usb device.
On the screenshot it is displayed that my laptop cannot find a thunderbolt controller

Please try this. It will resolve the issue
