Aspire E1 -522 claims to have two ram slots for upgrade. Where is the other one? (Not under back panel with first one).

@Cr00ksy there are 2 RAM slots each supporting up to 4GB DDR3/DDR3L-1333/1600 for a total of 8GB. This information is according to Acer, but I think it can take 16GB(2x8).

    Slot 1 and Slot 2.

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

It doesn't matter what the brand is. Just make sure the RAM you are purchasing has the same latency and frequency, as the one inside your laptop. To check the latency and frequency use HWiNFO.
